Accounting Specialist

About the position

The Accounting Specialist will maintain accurate and timely Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, purchasing and general accounting entries and recordkeeping.

Prepare deposit of customer remittance including copy checks, match open invoices to remittance statements, preparing deposit slip for manual bank deposit or processing the electronic deposit as needed. 

·Maintain accuracy and collections of outstanding invoice files.

· Create purchase orders for approval as needed based on approved purchasing requests.

·Process all AP mail, verify accuracy of invoices, and match packing slips, shipping documents and purchase orders to invoices.·   Manage and communicate all aspects of cash flow, accounting position, forecast needs and reporting to the President and Operations Manager.

·Reconcile and report on the primary operating and all capital accounts.

Hours are 8:00-4:30PM Monday-Friday
